Stephanie
Fiz

We met Stephanie at her Mallorca farmhouse, Can Fiz, lovingly called, their ‘Casa Abuela’. A place filled with color, dogs, light, and quiet magic. Belgian by birth, Stephanie lives on the island with her husband Federico and their two German Shepherds, embracing a rhythm that feels both grounded and free.

A travel designer and co-founder of The Sybarite Flamingo, Stephanie curates journeys that go far beyond the expected. Based in Mallorca, the boutique travel agency specializes in tailor-made experiences that uncover the soul of a place through design, people, and story. From private escapes to company retreats, Stephanie and Federico create moments that are both rare and deeply personal: as she said in an interview, “We create adventures for others while continuing to explore the world ourselves.”

She used to co-own Moments, a lifestyle magazine born from the desire to share meaningful stories about inspiring individuals, no matter where they come from or what they have to say. The publication reflects their way of seeing the world: curious, open, and always looking beneath the surface. Today that chapter was closed, but they would love to create a travel club here in Mallorca. A space to inspire locals and internationals with stories from their travels, and to build meaningful experiences with their partners. The idea is to connect creatives from around the world with the island, bring in exceptional travel stories, and co-create journeys with and for brands that source from unique places, giving their clients a way to truly connect. It’s still a dream, but the puzzle pieces are falling into place. The brand, The Sybarite Flamingo, is becoming a name. That Flamingo club? It’s being manifested.

But Stephanie’s story is more than just travel. Mallorca came into her life during a time of personal transformation. In the stillness of the island, she found the clarity to begin again, to heal, to create, and to live more honestly. That honesty is her signature. Whether in conversation, in her layered and expressive style, or in the way she speaks about recovery, loyalty, or love, she leads with openness.

Style, for Stephanie, is instinctual. Feathers, vintage jackets, stacks of meaningful necklaces. Nothing planned, everything personal. Her creativity is shaped by a life immersed in art, design, and friendship
