Rocio
Graves

Born on the island of Mallorca to British and Spanish parents, Rocio Graves grew up in a small community of artists immersed in creative expression and nature.

Having traveled extensively in India, her first visit was at age 9, she has spent a lot of time immersing herself in their many diverse cultures. At one point Rocio volunteered in organic regenerative farming and seed saving at Vandana Shiva's organic farm 'Navdanya', with this knowledge she attained a BA in Human Rights in London, really delving deep into her understanding of water and farmers’ rights.

Rocio’s interest is broad but incredibly interconnected, she’s passionate about cooking, sustainability, Ayurveda, spirituality, and food activism.
For the last 6 years, Rocio’s been working mostly in food, through recipe development and food photography and is now making her living predominantly by offering her food alchemy at retreats and private gatherings.

Through her online presence she shares her ongoing journey of self-healing, gardening and musings of her personal transformation through her awakening experience of divorce and sickness, with the intention of inspiring and uplifting those on the path of healing, of conscious living, of coming back home to themselves.

She is currently working on her first limited edition self-published book - a gathering of some of her treasured recipes and personal writings. Soon she’ll be offering her food available to order to a small number of clients in Mallorca. It’s a fridge re-stock with all her favourite staples (chutneys, spreads, dressings, snacks, juices, plant milks, etc) - all delicious and naturally nutritious!

Currently slow-living on her family's land, in an off-grid yurt where she welcomed us with some freshly picked tangerines and an exquisite yummy cocoa, see recipe below. Since we first tried this energizing warming cacao recipe we have switched over from our coffee daily morning routine. It’s delicious and so so good for you.

Warming cacao recipe

1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 cup hot water
a small handful of soaked cashews
a small piece of fresh ginger, peeled
1/2 tsp ground cardamon
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp raw honey
a small pinch of pink salt

We photographed her wearing the White Linen Shirt Dress, the Phoenicia Ren Jumpsuit and also the Empyreum Linen Ren Jumpsuit.
