In the serene north of Mallorca, where ancient olive trees whisper stories to the Mediterranean breeze, resides a soul whose journey weaves together art, community, and conscious living.

This winter brought us to meet a remarkable creative force - a woman whose path has meandered from the crisp Nordic archipelago of Stockholm to the vibrant streets of Barcelona, before finding home in the tranquil island paradise of Mallorca.

Growing up in Sweden's capital, Ida's early years were shaped by parents who nurtured an intrinsic connection to nature. This foundation would later bloom into a lifelong commitment to environmental consciousness and authentic living.

The pull of artistic exploration led her to Barcelona, where two decades of immersion in fashion and textile design shaped her creative vocabulary. But it was in 2017 that a new vision emerged - the founding of 'Muses of Now', a movement that aims to connect creative women worldwide.

What began as intimate gatherings - dinners where ideas flowed as freely as conversation, exhibitions that challenged perspectives, and installations that sparked dialogue - has flourished into a global sisterhood of 15,000 women. These connections span continents, united by the desire to reshape our present through creative expression.

Today, nestled in Mallorca's northern embrace, life has found a new rhythm. Alongside her partner and two sons, days are spent tending to their garden, sharing space with gentle creatures, and exploring the depths of authentic living. It's a existence that honors simplicity while nurturing creativity.

As seasons turn, so too do artistic journeys evolve. This next chapter brings an exciting return to personal artistic practice - a renaissance of sorts. Working with clay and textile, exploring movement and form, each piece becomes a conversation between material and maker.

In this quiet corner of the Balearics, where nature's rhythm sets the pace, we witness the beautiful unfolding of Ida's story still being written, with promising exhibitions on the horizon that will share these new creative explorations with the world.
