COLLEEN
HERMAN

Colleen Herman is a multi-talented artist living in New York City. Her professional life is incredibly varied and allows creativity in a multitude of disciplines, from working as a Creative Director for 2x4 and Linda Hogan Collective, to teaching students as adjunct professor at Parsons School of Design, (specifically at the MFA Fashion Design and Society), helping her students to understand the professional design world, and what it’s like working as a creative director.

Earlier this year, Colleen spent two months in artist residency with POCOAPOCO, Oaxaca, Mexico, where she further explored her passion for expressing movement and sounds via colors and strokes, working with oil pastels, handmade paper, and Mexican muslin. NYC’s Lazy Susan Gallery recently hosted an exhibition showcasing the work done in Oaxaca and we can't for the chance to experience her beautiful and expressive pieces again!

Colleen also pursues other projects such as teaching yoga in Nolita, and ‘Tenfold’, a luxury homewares brand she created in collaboration with The Line.

We shot Colleen at her art studio in Tribeca were she wears the White Linen Shirt Dress and the Citron Satin Kimono Dress
