We met Birjiwan, a tantra, kundalini yoga, and meditation teacher at her house in Esporles, Mallorca. 

Born and raised in the south of France, her spiritual path began 15 years ago while living in Paris

and working in the fashion industry as a production manager. 

She moved to the island a few years ago to start anew and live closer to nature. 

Birjiwan spends her time teaching in-person and online, and guiding retreats within

the female wellbeing collective like She She retreats. She also teaches at Rama Yoga Mallorca.

She shares the ancient arts as well as contemporary somatic wisdom,

and her transmissions aim to create a sense of deep bonding with the original essence of oneself,

and to propose tools for healing, sensuality, receptivity, empowerment and consciousness.

Also a singer and sound artist, she is fascinated by the power of frequency and mantra chanting.

Her musical project Sunniai has generated over 5 million streams since it launched in 2020.

She received us at home with a soulful lunch in her garden with a feast full of pleasures

with local ingredients paired with fresh truffles that her mother had brought over on a visit

from the South of France, (a family business that runs generations) and cups of lotus herbal tea.
