Born in Rome and raised in Paris, Benedicte studied Law and Political Science at Assas University. After finishing her studies she felt that fashion was calling her more strongly than a career in the judicial system so she began interning at a few magazines. It was when she met her - still mentor - Virginie Mouzat (currently Senior editor in Vanity Fair and previously Editor at Le Figaro) who she has followed throughout her career and works alongside as a Life Style Editor at Vanity Fair France. The past 6 years have seen Benedicte write about fashion, jewelry, and beauty and she now dreams of taking on another challenge by writing lifestyle books that feature her favorite and most inspiring objects.
We shot Benedicte in her Parisian apartment where she lives with her husband. She did the interior design herself and it is located in front of one of the most elegant gardens in the city, the emblematic “Parc Monceau” in the 8th district. Benedicte wears the Polka Slip Dress, The Bone Ren Shirt and Judo Pants and The White Linen Short Shirt Dress.
