BACK IN NEW YORK

Back to where it all began...
New York City, where Datura was born in 2011, is a crucial and intrinsic part of our past and present.
We shot these pictures with Quentin De Briey, in Chinatown - home to our first studio and the roots of the brand.
Quentin, is an old friend, celebrated auteur, and eternally creative ally. 
We met when we were both at the very beginning of our journeys, and working together again felt effortless and natural. 
This was a shoot amongst friends, with people who know each other, who were part of it from the start.
For this story, we mixed some of our very first designs with newer pieces: classic designs alongside new ones. This is the essence of Datura: creating a timeless wardrobe, adding pieces over time rather than replacing them.
Over the years, we moved our studio to Mallorca, but the connection between New York and the island has never felt more alive.
